So … this mix … this one just felt intrinsic intuitive ineffable somewhat subconsciously shared frequency on the whole with said verve aforementioned rhythmic vibrations … i remember when little boots’ SUYHB mixtape first crossed the radar … or, the general radar cross happening … i forget the details exactly, but broadly reminiscing, while studying in london i happened upon tickets to the shake warehouse launch party … went with a friend who was studying nursing … i didn’t actually have a plus one until we ran into each other outside the dorm, we exchanged weekend what are you up to pleasantries, he was free, i had an extra ticket, so it was and c’est la vie … anyhaps the warehouse itself edified the set … the architecture / interior genuinely felt like this sonic aesthetic incubator (i know i know, “it’s – a warehouse : what “architecture / interior” could it possibly “edify” — i don’t know, maybe the negative space was the architecture ambiance – anyway, onward) … it all just sensoried so unstructurally precise … anyway, needless to say, it just emanated nu house disco … or something to said general effect … anyway, all of thus abstruced … the warehouse set was a beautiful blip on the memory’s museum radar screen … and with all of the precedent nonsense … this mix itself is effectually how it felt to be present in / of / at said space and rhyme … with that, a toast, to all … enjoi :
